History of MegaGlobal Kft.

2007

Megaglobal Kft. was established in 2008 as a general IT hardware trading and software service company. In the second half of 2007, after developing the business model, the founders began setting up the organizational structure and service tools in the spring of the following year. Half a year later, the goal was to build customer relationships and start economic production, but at the same time, the outbreak of the unexpected 2008 credit crisis nullified all significant plans and expected results. Due to the constraints arising from the economic situation, the range of services expanded significantly: web development, marketing activities, software services, sales of special hardware, and barcode technology became the basic elements of the corporate portfolio.

The ownership structure was completely transformed by 2010, but the company remained Hungarian-owned and managed. The products and services sold have shifted significantly in the direction of engineering informatics and barcode technology.

Thanks to the general economic recovery in Hungary – and recognizing the opportunities inherent in the automotive industry – from 2015, the structure of the company will be adjusted to the needs of large industrial manufacturers. Significant parts of the customer base can be automotive suppliers, trading companies, or energy companies.

From 2018, industrial software development will also play a significant role, and the latest development will be completed, which will already be used at the enterprise level in the non-European part of the EMEA region.

From 2020, the goal is to design and implement integrated engineering IT systems, leaving the delivery, integration, and repair services of well-functioning system components.
